OPL3-SAx Driver Installation for WinNT:
DISCLAIMER INFORMATION:
NOTE: The driver(s) MAY NOT BE APPROVED by the manufacturer of your sound card
or PC system, and that they MAY NOT WORK with your specific sound card or PC
system configuration. Use of these driver(s) should be done at the risk of the users
and we cannot be held responsible for anything caused by using them.
Please note that the driver you are about to install was designed to function with the
chip called, OPL3-SAx, which was soldered down on the motherboard. If this is your
case, please skip to the General Information section.
If you are installing this driver on an add-on card, you need to make sure that there are
no other sound chip on the motherboard of your computer. If there is another sound
chip on the mother board, then you will have to disable that sound chip through the
BIOS because it will interfere with this driver. The manufacturer of your PC system
should be able to give you instructions to change settings in the BIOS.
YAMAHA CANNOT advise you on this procedure.

Prior to installing the driver for the OPL3-SAx, you should have already created a folder
in your hard disk drive and downloaded the executable file in that new folder as instructed
by our web page. If not, we highly recommend that you follow all the steps for downloading.
Please note that Windows will be restarted so we highly recommend that you exit out of
