Aztech CDA 268-01A CD-ROM DRIVE Version 1.35
This file contains additional information about the CD-ROM drive software
that was not available at printing time.
1. CD-ROM Device Driver DMA Channel Option
============================================
This version of the CD-ROM device driver supports DMA data transfer
provided the interface where it is connected supports it. The Aztech
CD-ROM interface card does not supports in DMA transfer mode.
If problems are encountered operating the CD-ROM drive using DMA mode,
switch the transfer mode to Programmed I/O by specifying /M:S in the
following statement in the CONFIG.SYS file.
DEVICE=C:\{...}\SGCD268.SYS /P:nnn /M:S /D:MSCD000
where {...} denotes the directory path
nnn denotes the port address of the CD-ROM drive
