Installation instructions for Widows 95 driver updates.

Instructions for installing the 4.10.01.1600 driver:
1. Create a new folder on your hard drive and copy the DRIVER.EXE
file into this directory.
2. Double Click on this file to un-compress it.
To Install new Driver:
1. Open the CONTROL PANEL from START|SETTINGS.
2. Double Click on the Display icon.
3. Click on the SETTINGS tab at the top of the DISPLAY PROPERTIES
Window.
OSR2 INSTRUCTIONS:
IF you are running the OSR2 version of Windows 95
there will be a button titled ADVANCED PROPERTIES at the
bottom of the SETTINGS Page. Click on this button.
1. Click on the ADAPTER tab.
2. Click on the CHANGE button.
3. Click on the HAVE DISK button.
4. Click on the BROWSE button.
5. Select the folder the DRIVER.EXE file was un-compressed in by
double clicking the correct folder path on the correct drive.
6. If the file promtn.inf appears in the FILE NAME box you have selected
the correct folder.
7. Click OK.
8. Click OK.
9. A window titled "Select Device should now be displayed on the screen
with the Alliance ProMotion listed and highlighted. Click OK.
10. Follow the directions displayed on the screen and reboot when prompted.
Windows build 950 Instructions:
IF you are running the Original version of Windows 95 there will
be a CHANGE DISPLAY TYPE button. Click this button.
1. Click the CHANGE button in the ADAPTER TYPE box.
2. Click on the HAVE DISK button.
3. Click on the BROWSE button.
4. Select the folder the DRIVER.EXE file was un-compressed in by
double clicking the correct folder path on the correct drive.
5. If the file promtn.inf appears in the FILE NAME box you have selected
the correct folder.
6. Click OK.
7. Click OK.
8. A window titled "Select Device should now be displayed on the screen
with the Alliance ProMotion listed and highlighted. Click OK.
9. Follow the directions displayed on the screen and reboot when prompted.
