How to install the Zoltrix Modem driver for the FMHSP56P

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove the existing HSP modem from the Control Panel.
2. Restart Win95/98 and install the new HSP modem driver from the driver disk when prompted.
3. Install the new modem driver.
4. Restart Win95/98.

REMOVING THE EXISTING MODEM DRIVER

You should use the first method first as this utility program provided by PCtel, not only
removes the modem driver, but completely removes all the modem entries in the Windows registry.

1. Double click on the "HSP Modem" ICON in the Control Panel.
2. Click on the "Uninstall" button.
3. Click on the "OK" button to confirm the uninstallation.
4. Click on the "OK" button again when informed that the "HSP Modem is removed successfully!"


Now that the old drivers are removed, you can install the new drivers
per the instructions found in the manual. But as this is a PnP device, the driver installation
is very simple. Simply follow the onscreen directions and use the correct driver disk when prompted.
