** WY-700 Windows 3.0 Driver Installation **

In these instructions you are told to "select" various options.
This means you should click on the option if you are using a mouse
or if you are using the keyboard use the arrow keys to highlight
the option and then press ENTER.


1. There are two jumpers on the WY-700 adapter card.
One is labeled "MONO" and the other is labeled "COLOR". If the WY-700
is the only monitor you have on your system, make sure both jumpers
are set to the ON position. See page 2-3,4 of the WY-700 User's Guide.

2. Use the "SCREEN MONO" WY-700 utility command to set the display to
monochrome.

3. If WINDOWS 3.0 is already installed on your system -> skip to step 7

4. Make sure there is at least 6.5MB available on your hard drive.

5. Insert the "Windows 3.0 Setup Diskette #1" in drive A, type A:
press ENTER, type SETUP, press ENTER.

6. Proceed with normal instalation of Windows until you reach the
selection for "Display". -> skip to step 10.

7. WARNING: Do not attempt to install this driver from within Windows
by clicking on the "Windows Setup" icon. You must exit Windows
and run Setup from the DOS command line.

8. Change Directory ("cd\" command) to the Windows system subdirectory.

9. Type SETUP and press ENTER.

10. Select the "Display" option labeled "Other".

11. Insert the WY-700 Driver diskette into drive A and hit ENTER.

12. After the Windows Setup Program copies the files from the Driver
Diskette there will be an option on the display setup menu for the
WY-700 listed as "1280 X 800". Select this option.

13. If you are installing Windows for the First time ...
continue with the rest of the installation of Windows otherwise
the choice will be offered to alter the CONFIG.SYS file, select the
option "DO NOT to alter the CONFIG.SYS file".

14. The installation of the WY-700 drivers is complete.
