8003/8013 FAMILY LAN ADAPTER SETUP PROGRAM

Version 1.05 September 23, 1991



This diskette contains version 1.05 of EZSETUP, a configuration

setup program for use with the new generation of 8003/8013 family

LAN adapters that are both jumper and software configurable.

In this release, the EZSETUP program operates with:



o 8003EB - 8-bit coaxial adapter configurable by

software only

o 8003W - 8-bit twisted pair adapter

o 8003EP - 8-bit coaxial adapter configurable by

jumpers or software

o 8003WC - 8-bit twisted pair adapter configurable

by software or jumpers

o 8013EP - 16-bit coaxial adapter configurable by

software or jumpers

o 8013W - 16-bit twisted pair adapter configurable

by software or jumpers

o 8013EW - 16-bit coaxial and twister pair adapter

configurable by software or jumpers

o 8013EPC - 16-bit coaxial adapter configurable by

software or jumpers

o 8013WC - 16-bit twisted pair adapter configurable

by software or jumpers

o 8013EWC - 16-bit coaxial and twisted pair adapter

configurable by software or jumpers



In the future it will support additional adapters.

Fixed the bug in Network connection field for 8003WC adapter.

Supported 8003WC, 8013WC, 8013EPC, and 8013EWC adapters.

Added support to 8013 adapters that do not have media type jumper.



-- Version 1.02 (November 1990)



Fixed the bug introduced by command line operation that causes the

adapter to be inoperable.

1. Supports 8013EP, 8013W, and 8013EW adapters.

2. Supports RAM base address range 80000 - FE000 for 8003 adapters.

For 8013 adapters, the range is 80000 - FFC000.



-- Version 1.00 (Initial Release, July 1990)



The RAM base address range supported in this version is

80000 - EE000. ROM base address range is 80000 - EC000.
