- SMOOTH COM ...smooth scrolling
- JUMP COM ...jump scrolling
To obtain a better result, system speed should be 8 MHz or up. Type
"smooth" at DOS prompt, the display will be changed to smooth scrolling
screen, or type "jump" at the DOS prompt, display will be toggled to
jump scroll when speed is preferred.

- UVGA EXE ...a menu driven mode switching utility
This set mode and diagnostic program allows you to select and preview
any mode that is available to your configuration. You may run this
program either directly from the DOS prompt or from a menu.
USAGE ::
1) UVGA
Type this command at the DOS prompt, you are entering a menu-
driven set mode program. There are six menus, and you will be
entering one of these menus depending on the monitor and the
switch setting of the SuperVGA adapter.
2) UVGA -KEYWORD
For instance GVGA -V13
256-color graphics mode.
To return to the default mode use: UVGA -V3
3) UVGA [MDA, CGA, HCD]
UVGA [AON, AOFF]
All the backward compatibility support, including MDA/Hercules,
CGA and CDOS (Chinese applications based on Hercules), are listed
in each UVGA menu. These features can be enabled by either using
the syntax mentioned above or simply enter AON (Auto Display ON)
or AOFF (Auto Display OFF) to enable or disable all backward
support.
4) UVGA [60,70,6,7]
The Flicker-Free feature in the UVGA increases the vertical
refresh rate of 640x480 mode from 60 Hz to 70 Hz.

The DOS 4.0 clear screen command, CLS only clears a portion of the screen
under extended modes. For DOS 4.0 users, please use CLEAR.COM instead of

Copy this file, CLEAR.COM, to the root directory of your boot drive,
and set a PATH to root. Therefore, you can use CLEAR.COM wherever
you want to.

RBG.TXT is a text file with 16 lines. Each line has 5 characters on it:
3 digits separated by 2 spaces.
The digits represent color intensities and can be values of: 0,1,2 or 3
for 16 colors modes and values of 0 or 1 for the 4 color mode.
The first digit is the intensity of Red,
the second digit is the intensity for Green and
the third digit is the intensity for Blue.
Each line represents a color index. The first line represents index 0.
The 16th line represents index 15. In the 4 color mode, index 0 to index
3 are the only available colors. Index 5 and index 7 are the border and
background in this mode, and can be any of the first 4 colors.
Each line (including line 16) ends with a carriage return.

The file size should not be over 127 bytes. The file should be on the
directory where you execute Autocad. If the file is not there, the
driver will use the default values.

display picture on the screen.

(4) Type SHADE or SHADE -R to configure or reconfigure AutoShade.

g. Go back to the Main Menu, Save changes and Exit.
This completes the installation of your LOTUS drivers.
When you enter "123", "LOTUS" or "SYMPHONY" use "Ctl-A" and follow the
instructions on the pop-up menus to switch text mode.

Use the following steps to install the driver :

directory.
(3) Install an appropriate driver.
For example: If you install PCAD!K!^.DRV as your driver, then you

By any editor utility, and save them at the root directory by

True Color Mode Setting Procedure:
In order to use the true color ramdac please follow the procedure
to enter the true color mode.
After completing the mode setting you may program the display memory
by arranging colors in the order of R,G,B, i.e. 3 bytes per pixel
are required to fill the memory.
Currently, the hardware can support true color mode up to 640x480
with colors of 16M, if 1M DRAM and true color RAMDAC on board.
