-----------------INSTALLATION GUIDE of CDR-100 CD-ROM DRIVES-------------------

1. HARDWARE REQUIREMENT
IBM PC/AT compatible
CPU : 80386 or higher
256K byte free EMS memory
EMS version 3.2 or higher

2.DEVICE DRIVER DESCRIPTION
SANYO.SYS >>>> using EMS memory device driver

3. How to install CDR-100

(1) Add ANSI.SYS (IN DOS) to yuor computer's CONFIG.SYS file.

DEVICE=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS

(2) Copy MSCDEX.EXE to the C:\DOS subdirectory on your computer's hard drive.

NOTE: If you use MS-DOS 6.0 or above,there is no need to copy this file
since MS-DOS already provides this file.

(3) Reboot your computer system.

(4) Insert CD-ROM install diskette to A or B floppy drive.

(5) Type INSTALL.BAT (Enter)

4. Add the following lines to your computer's CONFIG.SYS files.

DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE RAM 1024

NOTE: If this line already exist, please modify it as show above.

DEVICEHIGH= C:\SANYO.SYS /D:MSCD001 /DI:10 /EI:11 /A:300

NOTE: Make sure the Interface Card interrupt jummper's match these setting.

5. Add the following line to your computer AUTOEXEC.BAT FILE.

LH C:\DOS\MSCDEX /D:MSCD001 /M:10 /V

6. Restart your computer.
