We have the driver.. that is not the problem. But there can be different revisions of the same webcam - it may look the same externally, but inside, the core chips are different.

Please can you give the the Operating System you are using and HardwareID - then we can give you a link to the latest working driver.

Operating System: 32bit or 64bit?
Hardware ID: more information can be found at http://the-computer-site.com/hardware-id

RE: Web cam driver
I have a tips and tricks post on my site and a possible vimicro auto chipset program for people having problems trying to find out what there cam is.

http://www.davesdrivers.com/forum/showth...hp?tid=817

one thing to note even if you find the correct drivers.
when installing a webcam driver its important that you shut down your firewall and antivirus i have seen cases many times over when these programs block the usb port and you end up with a black or white or green screen only from your cam.

There are thousands of different webcams available, and we have thousands of drivers. To match the right driver to the right webcam, we need two pieces of information from you:

* The HardwareID of the Webcam. Make sure the webcam is connected first.
* The Operating System you are using (and, for Vista or Win7, is it a 32bit or 64bit operating system?)

I have the same problem. I tried the drivers here, but they didn't work: http://www.manhattan-products.com/downlo...2-02-1.zip

My hardware ID is:
USB\Vid_0c45&Pid_6011&Rev_0101

Can you point me in the right direction of a Windows XP 32-bit driver please.

Thanks.

Thank you very much. I tried 5 or 6 others (even searching for the hardware id on google) with no luck, but the driver you posted is working great!

RE: Web cam driver
the driver for that cam can be found here
http://www.acme.eu/en-us/support
its listed for windows xp to vista but not listed or tested yet on windows 7

download that driver and give it a try if it fails to work try the following

shut down all firewalls and anti-virus software.
then try and load it with the compatibility wizard
how to find and use that wizard can be found on my site at http://www.davesdrivers.com/forum/showth...p?tid=1869

one small tip make sure your using a main usb port and not a hub or a front usb ports as the cams need alot of power and run best on the main ports.

This is a very old webcam, and there are only 32bit drivers available. You didn't specify your operating system.

Thanks for your post deepu,

These numbers indicate you have a hardware problem. Try the device out on another computer, and see if you get the same results.

If the numbers are the same on the other computer, the device is broken.

No driver software will work until those numbers change.
