INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
To install end-user software, simply change to drive A or B and
type "install"; for example:
C:>a: ; change to drive A
A:>install ; start install
INSTALL is a self-explanatory installation procedure which allows users to
copy Options by IBM files to hard disk, configure the sound board settings,
and set up the Options by IBM Windows driver. You must have Microsoft
Windows 3.0 with Multimedia Extensions or Windows 3.1 and above to install
the Windows driver.
For advanced users: the uncompressed format of the Windows driver and
oemsetup.inf file are stored in the hard drive after installation. You
are able to use them with your Windows Control Panel.
RUNNING CD-ROM WINDOWS APPLICATIONS WITH YOUR SOUND CARD
To run CD-ROM Windows applications with your sound card, the Windows
[MCI] CD-AUDIO driver must be installed. The installation program
will scan your SYSTEM.INI file for this driver. To add this driver to
Windows, double-click on the Control Panel icon in the Main Program
Manager window. Select Drivers, press ADD, and select [MCI] CD Audio.
Press OK and re-start Windows.
