if this is for win XP then no driver should be necessary windows already contains all necessary drivers for standard USB ports.

unless the adaptor is a device and not a port?

I assume this is a wireless networking adapter, please let me know what make and what O/S you are using, I have a load of these drivers and maybe will have the one you need.
