Dear Sirs,
This is regarding a network connectivity problem. I am using my Windows 2003 Standered Server and my clients Windows 2000 professional. My hardware configuration is follows.

Intel Pentium 4 2.00 Ghz, 1 GB Ram, D-Link DFE-538 TX 10/100 Network Adapter.

I am facing network connectivity problem. I have configured my Server2003 IP as 192.168.0.156 and clients in the range 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.10. The network was worked fine around 1 or 2 weeks. Presently there is some problem that the Server can ping all the clients but clients can't ping to server. And all the clients can ping each other. I have configured the windows 2003 server as DNS Server. So can any have any idea about this particular problem? Can anybody can help me in this regard?

Regards
Sabu.

What happens when you ping the server's IP from the server?
Are the client's using any of the server's resources? If they are, can they still access them?
Can you see the server through My Network Places (or whatever it is on WIn2K)?
Is the server running Active Directory?
Are you running DHCP or did you enter static IPs on the clients?
How are the clients connecting to the server? Switch, hub, wireless etc.

We need lots more info than what you provided.

I'm having a similar problem with a very simple setup - 1 W2003 server, running DNS and acting as DC and AD. I also have 1 XP machine, currently a workgroup that I'm trying to join to the domain. Both are connected to a router that does DHCP while leaving DNS on the server. I can get from the server to the wkstn, but from the wkstn I can't ping the server (the IP is resolved properly, just no response), and when I try to join I get 'Domain not found'. One thing I have't gotten to check yet is the W2003 firewall setting, I just found out where to look for it.
Any thoughts ?

What is the IP of the server?
What is the IP of the workstation?
What are the respective subnet masks?
