hi, after i resinstalled Windows because it was going too slow, i could not find the audio driver for it. On the device hardware, it says i have a all the audio codecs. I am using this on a windows xp 32 bit.

that looks like a IBM think pad but the model number is not listed.

your main audio controller is loaded but not your sound card, thats why windows does see the controller.
look on ibm website for the main sound card driver.

can u tell me the difference between the sound and controller? and this prbolem is very confusing since this is a chinese lenovo my dad brought from China but i reinstalled it, and since I cant read chinese well i'm stuck.

the controller is the intel pci lane the main sound card is on.
the thinkpad does undertand that as its listed as intel.
your just missing the part on the end the main sound card.
now i knew it was there but could not find this yesterday but at last just found the auto detect at ibm.

click this link and then click auto detect this system.
it should with luck choose the correct model for you.
