can you post back with the model number of your packard bell.
that seem to be the conexant hd audio modem your after.
i will need to know what windows your running and if you have done a downgrade i will need to know that as well.
packard bell are not as bad as hp for downloads trust me you just need to know where on their site to look.
hp on the other hand are being very very sneeky with their downloads.

Hi Davey, sorry for delay in reply been away for a few days.
I have a Packard bell Easy Note SJ51 which I have Downgraded to WinXP, My prefered opperating system. Everything is working fine accept the ethernet Driver although my Internet and Outlook Express are working fine through my Wireless Connection.
I was also given a Conexant High definition audo driver that seems to work fine under normal computer use and indeed have had no Problems with it with various games.
I have recently purchased Hauppauge WinTV for my laptop ( same programme works ok on this computer also winXP ) but on my Laptop TV will run Approx 10 minutes and sound goes Garbled and then goes completely. Whichever channel i'm watching, if I click it again it will run for another ten minutes or so and do the same thing.
Initially thought WinTV product was faulty and took it back, but after three exchanges with same problem decided that the conexant driver may not be as compatible as I thought
I did think I may be able to solve this problem by copying the sound drivers from My WinXp disk but cannot seem to locate them and of course the laptop originally Vista may not recognise it.
Would be gratefull if you can help with any of this.
Many thanks
Paul
