Hey!

Hope you can help me out with this without telling me to search it, cause I've done that. So please, need drives to following...

IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
- VIA Bus Master IDE Controller

System Devices
- VIA CPU to AGP2.0/AGP3.0 Controller
- VIA Standard PCI to ISA Bridge
please choose what o/s your running from this link.
http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=2

then carry on to teh next page, click chipset drivers.
then download and install the Hyperion drivers.

that should clear those errors
Cheers, now it's only VIA CPU to AGP2.0/AGP3.0 Controller left.

Do I install it manually, by pasting the files in:
VIA\viaagp\DRIVER\WinXP

or what, I'm using XP Home edition

Thx
no need for that , have a look here.

if after you install that it still shows a error look for the unpacked driver files on your c drive then use device manager to install the driver.
It was that one I've installed and I got some files I know how you install (this are not the one's but it's the similar files):

Go Properties > Advanced > Drivers > Update drivers > No not this time etc...

Is that right?
yes your correct.

if your in any doubt over installing from device manager have a quick read of this i done for my own site.
it should help you understand it a bit better.

RolleyesAs a newbie to computing and this site, I wish to thank all the members for their questions and especially to those who have provided all the solutions.
My screen name tells you my level of understanding of computing.
Is there a free tool to identify drivers I need to update and a place to get said drivers free?

I do not wish to spend any money on something I feel may be available for free.

Thanks in advance , and keep up the good work.
