I am having problems with my router when i play online games i keep disconnecting from the network i tried to change my ssid and try switch off the router and i also tried making the security to defult bit i still get disconnected. my router is 2 wire and some time i see a red light flashing on my router. so if you have anything that helps would be great
if you see a red light flashing its retraining to the adsl link.
this can happen if you have noise on the line, so check all your phone wire for breaks or splits. will happen more if your phone rings and you answer it you may find the click of the phone is enough to make the router reset.
if your not on static ip address the router could also be switched by your isp as it changes your ip address after so much lease time.
check with your isp what contract you have.
check in your router settings for lease time to wifi.
it may be set to time you out after so long , set it in your router settings to unlimited to your wifi mac address.
