Windows XP Pro installed for 6 months, was working fine.

I start the computer now and I see the ATI Bios screen I guess it is
Video ram counts up, Realtek screen flashes fine, Satalink screen
flashes fine, but it doesn't go into the Windows boot up logo.

At one point I did see the Windows logo, but then the comp reset
and starts the whole process over.

I checked the BIOS and my HDD is detected.

Is this a problem with the way my cables are connected?
It gets pretty confusing in there!
Any ideas?
Reboot cpu and keep hitting F8 key to try to go to safe mode.

if it goes to safe mode restore back afew days and restart.

unplug and replug the cables going to hhd.

post results....
I could not get into safe mode, so I went into the Recovery Console but it would appear that my install of Windows was not being detected, so I formatted and reinstalled windows. Since I keep all important data on a storage drive including documents, I was okay with this solution.

Now things seem to be working problem free, faster than ever even, so I just might be out of the woods.

Thanks for your reply.
