When i start or restart my computer then i hear a 'beep' sound which keep on repeating every half a second or so and i am getting one of the followin replies on my screen
1. The screen goes blank(black)_
2. Initialising link... Check media cable...
3. DCHP. . . . \
No bootable device found. Insert a disk and press any key...

Please guide me what should i do. I have checked my 200GB sata hard disk in other computer and it has no problem..

My system configuration is-
Windows XP SP2
processor- e6300(1.86GHz,core 2 duo)
motherboard- Intel with some P965 chipset
1GB RAM 533MHz

**{I had removed all the connections and removable components from the motherboard and re-attached them SEVERAL times,, few times the system worked perfectly and remaining times i was hearing the beep with either the 1st or the 3rd reply that i mentioned above.}

Waiting for help...
Thank you.
if your bios is bleeping more then once it has a problem with hardware connected to your computer.
this could be CPU , memory , videocard

next time it bleeps more then once please do this note down your bios ami or award
count how many bleeps it does say three followed by one
or four followed by one
e.t.c

go to goggle and put in award bleep code 3 short 1 long or 4 short one long
you should be able to find out what is the problem with the board.

if when working it does not pick up on your sata drive make sure your sata is enabled in your bios.
Thanks for the reply.,.
Got the problem solved.,
The power cord, that connects the power supply to the hard-disk had to be changed...
