Hi - I bought a new asus f3e series laptop a few months ago. The laptop came with a vista operating system which crawled up and down and just kept a crawling. So i remove and have someone install xp pro. He did a great job but we could not find drivers for the sound and video.
Having said all that i need to figure out what components i have and get xp drivers for that , then figure out how to intall them. The largest problem i have if figuring out what hardware is installed in the machine. Then looking for the drivers. Any help would be appreciated. Tony

asus do offer xp downloads for this model

under sound it does state load the uaa driver first which is made by microsoft ( microsoft unversal driver ) i have that driver on my site here it will save you time looking over microsoft trying to find it.
