Hi Guys,

I've recently solve this problem. I downgraded a Compaq Presario V3618TU from Vista Home to Windows XP SP2, I was easily able to install all the basic drivers including the Conexant HD Audio Driver.
Heres what I did:

1. download the sp33867 (UAA) in hp site
2. Install the package sp33867 - w/ this, you can now detect the HD Device.
3.download the sp34386
4. Install the package sp34386 - this will not install the driver but instead create a swsetup file.
5. Right click the HD device in the device manager and update driver, use the specific location c:\swsetup\sp34386. thats it.

I hope this will help. Have a nice day.
