Hello.
I have a Epson Stylus Color 640 Printer. It has the Parallel Port. I am trying to run this printer under Windows Vista 32-Bit. I have tried looking for Windows Vista drivers for the this printer but i assume that there isn't any? i have just been using the one that Windows Vita offers. I have also been to the epson website and they do infact say this printer will run under windows vista. Now the problem i am having is I have The Printer hooked up, i have brand new G&G ink cartridges installed. When i goto print something out the printer moves around as if it is printing, but no ink will come out on the paper. I have tried running the Nozzle Check, to clear any clogged nozzles with out any luck. Hopefully one of you kind folks can help me out.
there are no vista drivers for this printer.
the only ones are built in the o/s

go in to your bios and change the Parallel Port settings to spp

if that don't help try epp

also make sure you have the most up to date motherboard drivers installed on your pc just in case vista is misreading the port.
