when i try to change anything in system configuration it stops responding, even if it is to just disable a program from running at startup i have to hit ctrl alt delete to end task at the close program window i have a compaq presario using windows 98se

sorry this post has been here a long time i just did not see it.

best way out of this would be a clean install of windows 98se.

save all your files and reinstall windows.
