I have not come across a scanner thats vista ready yet not even my own.
if you have the xp driver try that in the way i have listed here.

please keep in mind that vista is not out yet so support is very very limited.

Hi.
I'd be very grateful to you if you could let me know where I can download Vista drivers for the N1240U, am having trouble with it since upgrading

I recently came to this thread to figure out how to install my canoscan N650U (old, I know) on Win Vista. Canoscan doesn't provide drivers as of yet. What I did next worked. I restarted and after the BIOS I tapped F8 until the safe mode screen popped up. I noticed at the bottom that there is an option to force driver installation even if unsigned. I used the XP drivers and it works now.

Hi All,
I came accross this site which doesn't have a Vista Driver as such for my ageing Canon N650U Scanner, but the App uses a generic driver which seems to work with vista *and* XP Pro x64 as well...
