ive looked and looked for a 'globe' website, with no luck. I've used this on a few games incl. Need4Speed MW, CrashDay, FlatOut1/2, and many more.... all worked pretty fine exept i was only able to use the wheel in analog mode, not the pedals.... i presumend they were analog too because in one of the modes it displays the pedals (in Game Controller Menu in XP) as + and - on the Y axis, but for some reason these games did not respond to this mode.
Right now it says that it is a usb joystick with Z axis and Z rotation? of which i cant alter because there is no Z axis.
My problem is in the new game TestDrive Unltd. because of the extra assinged axis that XP thinks my wheel has, the game wont allow me to configure the controlls properly as it detects more than one axis being activated when i turn the wheel.
Now the only place my relentless searching for these drivers has taken me is to a previous 'closed' post in these forums, http://driverzone.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=744
at the end of which the guy without the drivers doesnt need them as he relinquishes the peice of junk that bought him here in the first place.
One of the solutions possed there states that i should "tell windows what it is before i plug it in," iv'e tried this by adding a new (custom) device prior to pluging it in but it says

your gameport or gameport drivers are not properly configured, please consult device manager
also, i can't remove them from there as it tells me to do it in device manager too.
Im pretty sure its a driver problem because if i get the right one, or a generic wheel driver (if there is such a thing ) then i wouldnt have that interfering Z axis.
any help would be appretiated.... alot, as i cant drive as well with my joystick
TJ74 offerd to email drives to the other guy, is this normal practice here? should i be cautious?
