Anyone able to make their cell phones work (as a modem, or just to manage contacts or whatever) in a 64-bit OS? I've gotten the "we're waiting for Vista" excuse from a few vendors... I really don't want to dual-boot a 32-bit OS just for 1 device.
windows xp 64bit was not very well supported by third party companies, you will find that most are now waiting for vista to come out and they will still wait a little longer to see if vista takes off or not before they spend money on making drivers.
Whether Vista takes off immediately or not, 64-bit processors are definitely here...  There is some hope - Sierra Wireless has 64-bit drivers for their Sprint broadband PCMCIA card.

i agree with you i have a 64bit pc myself,

running xp 64 and vista 64bit, shame my scanner is not supported under 64bit windows but is under 32bit.

its the same old story with third party companies, some will, some won't support 64bit till it becomes main stream like 32bit.

even microsoft have more beta software out for 32bit vista then they do for 64bit.
