this is a very very old scanner as mustek list drivers for 3.x
they have not even done a driver for windows me or windows 2k. so i doubt very much if your going to get it to work under windows xp.
how does this scanner connect to the computer ?

then click download drivers
enter 6000sp in the search.
you will then see what i mean.
good scanners are cheap these days and it may be worth your while thinking about replacing this scanner.
