I have an Asus p4ge-mx motherboard...and while intsalling some virtual device,my secondary ide drivers got overwritten....please help me to get the reqd. drivers to get my cd-roms back running(they are on the secondary ide).

reinstall your motherboard drivers, this should once again tell the o/s about your chipset and give you back your secondary ide.
the newest intel chipset drivers for the 845ge can be found here.
just choose you o/s then download and install the INF file.

thanks a lot for the link to the intel site. the update for the inf file fixed all the probs and my secondary ide are up and running.
