Its official, apple released the iMac and MacBook, which run intel processors
Apple. So, I heard many different stories about what happened. Some say its really an x86 core. Others say intel specifically designed the cip for apple. Does anybody have the real story? :?
I dont know the story, But I am wondering about Pentium 5. AMD has got lots of new stuff, and intel kept P4. It looks like P5 wont exist.
So, I am wondering if AMD forced intel out of the PC market, so intel is now making mac stuff...
Is possible...
(I am not religeous, but I am praying to god that Intel dies! I hate Intel, They suck!)
Yes Pau, Intel with over 80% of market share are being forced out. DUH!!
Now just have a tiny with think. If Intel had never existed, AMD, Cyrix and others wouldn't have had any CPU to copy, err sorry, reverse engineer.
I wonder sometimes why you even own and use a computer. Windows 3.xx is, according to you, the greatest operating system ever written and now Intels are 'useless'?
Lastly, Intel are NOT making Mac stuff. Intel are making processors that are used in Macs. Big difference.
I agree with biggles on this 1. I have always thought intel processors were good since I've had a P1. Now they have a ViiV and a Centrino Duo for the lineup. Check it out at intel.com
