Hello,

I know very little about this stuff, but I know i need a driver to be able to use a USB Flash thingy to transfer files from my old derelict PC / Pentium II running windows 98 (just) to my new Powerbook.

Can you help with what I need? When i insert the USB stick into PC it cannot even see it.

Thank you so much,

GA

According to Kingston (read below and on the driver download page) it DOES make a difference.

Kingston sells several different versions of the USB DataTraveler. It is very important that you determine which DataTraveler you have BEFORE downloading any drivers.

Thanks for that. I had a look and mine is definitely DTI/XX, the first one. Have I bought the wrong one then? There doesn't seem to a driver for W98, only W98SE.

Any way around it?

Thanks a million again,

Did you try the Win98 driver? Win98 wasn't a real good platform for USB so it may or may not work.
