I downgraded from vista to xp and computer now has no sound installed. I have the geforce 6150 AM2 uATX motherboard. Also this has occured with a coconut creek 945GC motherboard. How do I get the drivers installed or the computer to recognize the hardware already onboard?
Never try installing XP with vista on.The reason being Vista is an advanced version of XP and hence your pc might have trouble reading it and some times it may stop functioning compelling you to change the configuration.In order to allow your OS to read the hardware uninstall all your OS.First install Xp and then re install vista and then see the results.
i have already delt with squeeze_61 errors on my own site however
rockaway it is possible to load windows xp on to a machine with vista already installed.
if you follow this guide to the letter it does work as i have done it myself 6 times.
